Seva currently has a permanent Senior Technical Business Analyst position open within our offices.

Requirements:
Business Process Analysis and Design
* Analyze and define existing business processes and interdependencies
* Document existing & new processes through workflow and data flow diagrams (processes, entities, information exchanged, etc.)

Functional and Non-Functional Requirement Definition
* Work with the business and IT communities to translate business needs into functional requirements
* Develops, documents and communicates project and business assumptions as it relates to the requirements
* Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
* Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations. Develops relationships with business personnel that foster business-IT ties.
* Ensure requirements are captured from all IT areas, such as Security, Data Architecture, Application Architecture, Quality Assurance and other support groups. Ensure all IT areas are adequately informed of scope and requirements
* Recognizes, documents issues and develops options for issue resolution

Communication
* Assists in the facilitation of team and customer meetings.
* Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.
* Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
* Represents all stakeholders when gathering requirements
* Communicates needed requirements changes to development team.

System Design 
* Understand and be able to explain basic design components and methodology
* Recommend modifications to business processes based on design considerations
* Recommend modifications to requirements based on design considerations
* Understand and document high-level alternatives based on business process and interfacing / integration requirements
* Ensure design addresses requirements

Enterprise Architecture 
* Understand and be able to explain basic enterprise architecture design methodology
* Understand and be able to explain overall high-level architecture options
* Experience evaluating and implementing packages and working with vendors

Work Management
* Identify potential scope changes and manage change control
* Participates in design with design personnel to ensure requirements are clearly communicated
* Communicates and applies project standards.

Leadership
* Ensure own work priorities / results are aligned with overall vision / direction for a project
* Be a positive role model and proactively contribute to morale of the team
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding

Experience:
* Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus
* 4+ years of progressive broad based information systems and business experience; experienced in software engineering involving development and testing of applications is highly desirable
* Experience working with customers to develop solutions to complex business problems
